Day Two Progress

Today my doctor cleared me to have a few hours to leave LDS hospital and head out to Murray to see my sweet boy. I was so excited. I was able to spend a few hours with him. He opened his eyes when he heard my voice. It was the best thing ever!

Logan has progressed/transitioned to the c-pap machine and is breathing more on his own. The nurse said today that he could move to a nasal breathing support tonight but wanted to let him rest since he had been through enough transition today. He now has a picc line which are his antibiotics and nutrition. He is working really hard to breath and get better.

He is the sweetest thing ever. Thank you for your kind words and prayers. It is going to be really tough leaving him in the hospital. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Stay tuned...

  9. I just read your birth story how scary and terrifying! Weston was in NICU but he was in the same hospital I was at so I can't even imagine how hard that must be. It's so hard to leave them and go back home I cried constantly! I will keep you, Chad and baby Logan in my prayers. I hope he progresses fast so you can take him home. In the meantime take good care of yourself so your body can heal!

  11. Oh my gosh, what a scary story. When grandma Bonnie sent a text telling me he was here, I knew he was early, so we started prayers for you, but I had no idea what had taken place. My heart goes out to you all. I am so glade you listened and did what the Spirit told you. He is so beautiful and such a little miracle. Take care Kandace so you will be ready for that little fighter when he gets to come home. We are praying for all of you! Love you so much! Congratulations Daddy and Mommy!
